Manage Timezones

Setting Account Timezone ensures the Tymeshift App will show the correct date and time for your region. If your team is global, Tymeshift's Timezone Switcher will allow you to apply other timezones when you make schedules, monitor daily work, and more.

Account Timezone

You can set your Account Timezone in the Tymeshift App inside Zendesk or from the Tymeshift WebApp. Once it's set, it will be assigned as a default timezone for all your team members, unless you specify otherwise in User Timezone.

       From the Tymeshift App inside Zendesk:

  1. Click on the Tymeshift icon in Zendesk.
  2. Click on Admin from the left side menu.
  3. Click on Settings.
  4. Locate the Timezone section.
  5. Select the appropriate timezone.
  6. Your settings will save automatically.

       From the Tymeshift WebApp:

  1. Click on Admin.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. Locate the Timezone section.
  4. Select the appropriate timezone.
  5. Your settings will save automatically.

Timezone Switcher

You can use this feature throughout Tymeshift to change the timezone you see. It's helpful for quickly calculating timezone differences among your agents. To access it, simply click on the Timezone Switcher globe icon in the upper right corner of your screen.

Here are a few things to keep in mind about the Timezone Switcher:

  • The Timezone Switcher overrides whatever timezone you have in your Account Settings.
  • The timezone you use when creating a Schedule should match the timezone of the team/agent that you are scheduling.
  • The Timezone Switcher helps you to see your agentsโ€™ activities in their exact timezone.
