Setting Account Timezone ensures the Tymeshift App will show the correct date and time for your region. If your team is global, Tymeshift's Timezone Switcher will allow you to apply other timezones when you make schedules, monitor daily work, and more.
You can set your Account Timezone in the Tymeshift App inside Zendesk or from the Tymeshift WebApp. Once it's set, it will be assigned as a default timezone for all your team members, unless you specify otherwise in User Timezone.
From the Tymeshift WebApp:
- Hover over the gear icon.
- Click on Settings.
- Locate the Timezone section under Time.
- Select the appropriate timezone.
- Your settings will save automatically.
You can use this feature throughout Tymeshift to change the timezone you see. It's helpful for quickly calculating timezone differences among your agents. To access it, simply click on the Timezone Switcher globe icon in the upper right corner of your screen in the webapp or on the top right side of the Schedule in the Zendesk app.
Here are a few things to keep in mind about the Timezone Switcher:
- The Timezone Switcher overrides whatever timezone you have in your Account Settings.
- The timezone you use when creating a Schedule should match the timezone of the team/agent that you are scheduling.
- The Timezone Switcher helps you to see your agentsโ activities in their exact timezone.
