Most likely, you will fall into one of two categories when changing account owners. Pick the scenario that best fits your situation and follow the steps below.
- Scenario 1: your authorized Tymeshift owner has left the company or will leave.
- Scenario 2: the former Tymeshift account owner will still be an admin on your Zendesk account.
- Reauthorize tymeshift – this can be done from any other Zendesk admin’s account.
- Contact us and we will update the details in our system. Just let us know the new owner’s first name, last name, and email address.
Important: assign a new Tymeshift owner before you remove or downgrade the previous owner. If you do not, the connection between Zendesk and Tymeshift will be broken, which will impact your data collection. Real time data during this time cannot be recollected.
In this case, you won’t need to reauthorize the app. Send us a message to let us know the new contact person’s first name, last name, and email address and you’re all set!
Note: the person listed in your Account Details isn’t necessarily your Account Owner. Account Details only lists the person who receives Billing and Subscription notifications.
